Marcus is a second-generation winemaker who fell in love with wine as a young boy helping with vintage in his native home Australia. He graduated from Adelaide University Roseworthy program with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Oenology major) in 1997. Since then, he has worked as a flying winemaker with over 30 vintages around the world making wine in Europe, South Africa, Australia and Canada. With many years of experience as a Partner, General Manager and Chief Winemaker at multiple wineries, he really understands from the most intimate level what makes an iconic wine. He has also been directly involved with setting up over six new winery projects. He has recently earned the prestigious title Master of Wine, after studying for 5 years at the Institute of Master of Wine. Marcus has achieved international success with his wines earning more medals and awards than can be listed. For the last six years he has travelled to over 20 countries working as an international wine buyer and consultant. In his spare time he is the father of 3 young children.
